About the Great Valley Forum
The Great Valley Forum was launched on August 3, 2008 as a non-profit website to provide local information and allow residents of the Great Valley area to discuss issues that are important to them. In addition to open forums where discussions on just about any topic can take place, there are a number of information resources that users can use or even contribute to. These include lists of organizations, companies, restaurants and things to do in the the Great Valley Area. Users can submit new entries to the directory as well as comment on existing entries or "Vote Up" or "Vote Down" each entry. Another feature is the full-featured Event Calendar that users of the site can also contribute to. It is meant to be used for any type of event in the local area from a garage sale to charity event to entertainment. From its start, new features have been regularly added and will continue to be added in the future.
