There have been a few burglaries in the area recently in Charlestown. As reported by The Phoenix:

In addition to the three robberies on Dickson Drive, http://www.charlestown.org reports there was at least one additional burglary on Dobs Lane.

One of the houses that was broken into reportedly had someone sleeping inside the house at the time. Does anyone know if the burglars are good at picking locks or are they just walking in unlocked and unalarmed doors?

State Police Representatives to Attend Special Meeting August 27th (from Linda Csete) -
In response to residents' concerns about a number of burglaries that took place in the Township over the summer, representatives of the Pennsylvania State Police will attend a special meeting of the Board of Supervisors on August 27th to provide an update on the investigations and offer safety recommendations to homeowners, followed by a question and answer session. The meeting will be held at the Great Valley Middle School, Room 154, at 7:30 P.M.
