As many of you know, E. Kahn Development has a large scale development in the pipeline that would intensely improve the shops, restaurants and in town residences available to the residents of Malvern Borough. While there are always a few negatoves to any large scale project, the benefits FAR outwieigh any negatives that may relate to traffic etc. Please post your questions, or contact me directly if you are interested in learning in more detail about this development .. or how you can get involved in supporting the project.

I've seen some of the plans on the Malvern site at http://www.malvern.org/htms/eking.html and while I'm not crazy about having a lot of construction, I am very excited about what it will be when it's done.
Has there been any update to the timeline recently?

Malvern Borough Council adopted the necessary amendments to the zoning ordinance on April 21, 2009.

Thanks for the update! Does this mean they'll be starting the project in earnest soon or will the standard bad economy causing a lack of financing hinder progress?

They are definitely moving ahead. Financing for this type of project is actually not hard to get right now.
