There is an article in the Phoenix paper from yesterday about the Devault TND.  Looks like they're going to complete construction in 2009.

Can that be correct that it will be started and completed in the next 14 months?  I really am very excited about this development.  I think it is a terrific opportunity for sustainable development.

There were a number of inaccurate statements in the newspaper article. At the October 6th Board of Supervisors meeting, the developer, Dewey Homes, said they want to complete the plan by the spring of 2009, and to begin construction in the spring of 2010.

Thanks for the correction!  I'm looking forward to the Devault TND as well - I attended a few of the planning commission meetings where it was discussed and I think it's a great use of space as opposed to yet another office building in the middle of a massive parking lot.

I live just off of Union Hill Rd so I'm curious what the lights and traffic patterns are going to look like at Whitehorse/Morehall but I think it will be a net positive.
